In a recent interview with Maleeha Rahman, Yumna Zaidi revealed that it was not easy to play Bakhtu on screen as she wore very shabby clothes and had no make-up on her face. It is not easy to face the camera bare-faced and in such a non-glamorous role. She definitely took the risk of playing a role with zero make-up and where she didn't look dreamy which the audience usually likes.

Yumna also revealed that it was not easy to shoot Bakhtawar as they shot in crowded places in advertising markets and when she played Bakhtawar there were some security people around her and when she played Bakhtawar If she played the role of, she was without security. Yumna shared that she also realizes how difficult it is for a woman who actually goes through this ordeal.
