Most of the Pakistani dramas revolve around the female lead so female performance in any drama plays an important role in its success. This year, many Pakistani actresses experimented in different roles. There were others who stood in supporting roles. Some of them even made a whole treat to look at cliched characters.
There were also actresses who made their presence felt even though some of them did not get much screen time. Hadiqa Kiani (Dobara)
Dobara, Hadiqa Kiani's second acting project. Although she is a well- established singer, most of us weren't expecting her acting skills to be as versatile and impressive as she has been so far. Most of us thought that Raqib would be her best performance, but Hadiqa Kayani surprised everyone by choosing a completely different play from her first performance and nailing it to perfection.
Sarah Nadeem (Dobara)
Sarah Nadeem didn't get much screen time in the drama serial Dobara but whenever she appeared in the limelight, she left a lasting impression. She was convincing and likable as the loving friend who was always the voice of reason whenever Mehro was confused.
