Humayun Saeed Reveals Character From Netflix The Crown

Humayun Saeed is all set to make his debut in The Crown, a major Netflix show depicting the life of the British royal family. Humayun Saeed will be seen playing the role of Dr. Hasnat Khan opposite Elizabeth Debicki who plays Princess Diana. Dr. Hasnat Khan was the man in Diana's life for whom she fell in later life. Humayun Saeed spoke to Variety where he revealed what it's like playing a real-life character for the first time and how different Dr Hasnat is from Diana: He said:

Dr Hasnat Khan and Princess Diana were complete opposites. He was a very ordinary man in every way and I think that's what attracted Princess Diana. His nature and simplicity made him special to Princess Diana.

He further added:

I haven't played a real-life character on screen and playing Dr. Hasnat Khan who is known to be Princess Diana was a huge responsibility,” added Saeed. I am sure the audience will love the simplicity of this relationship and its portrayal on screen.
